Over the years, the outstanding quality of
our dogs has been recognized by our peers. We are proud that other Malamute breeders and AKC licensed judges have bought/bred Uyak ® dogs. Because we own frozen semen on key prepotent and proven studs of our line, we continue to enjoy the capacity to produce Uyak ( oo yak ) dogs of exemplary type and quality.
Uyak® Alaskan Malamute foundation dogs represented a highly select and concentrated gene pool which we have perpetuated and perfected by very close breeding. The hallmark of Uyak® breeding is close linebreeding and occasional inbreeding. This consistent, well planned breeding program is the reason Uyak Alaskan Malamutes are instantly recognizable by Malamute fanciers everywhere.
Collaboration with other breeders is the key to the success of the Uyak bloodline. Throughout the years, we have continued to work with other breeders in the development and preservation of the bloodline. At present, we are breeding collaboratively with Jennifer Kurtz of Nike Kennels (NY), Bernadette Quercio of Artic Luv Kennels (CA), and Nick Federoff and Kriste Stromberg of Kodak Kennels (VA). We work together in planning breedings that exemplify the extraordinary quality of our gene pool. We enthusiastically invite others who want to participate in sharing the Uyak bloodline. |
